Mary,

We met with Sylvester Manor leadership yesterday to start up a winter food security program.  They have massive unused capacity for expanding Shelter Island’s regenerative agriculture. AGRR 400 and the Resilient American Communities - Peconic Bioregion intend to provide 3 or 4 grow carts in the next 30 to 60 days to kickstart the process, which could at some point lead to 20 acres of greenhouse and another 50 acres of outside regenerative agriculture.

We would like to loop you in. We are looking to link it to STEM education in the East End schools.

Mike

Greeting Mike,
Thank you.  I’d love to know more. I’m not involved with schools in any way.  Maybe DARR can reach out to Jenn Keller, master science teacher.
When you are ready to inform the public on any of this, please let me know.  I have good contacts with the media, some blogs and we are getti g ready to do more on social media.
Maybe a phone call?
Mary
